Girl In A Coma; Their Cell

the movie critic is back with a vengeance
after a slight drought i have been brought back to life with a little oasis of 3 better-than-average shows

12Lotus - don't mock. support local films okay. this poignant plight of a torrid tragedy would have fully explored its darkness if not for its excessive getai moments..the vocals left the hairs on my arms standing half the time. also, cute as a pie mindy ong should have more stage time! dismayed when she grew up and er, big too fast too furiously!

Lars and the Real Girl - bored to tears at the beginning but teared for Real at the end (another reason to cry: Ryan Gosling fat as a dumpling)

Stranger Than Fiction - this movie will put an end to not-so-nice things said about Maggie Gyllenhaal (sp?) in Batman! she is absolutely gorgeous - take it back! she is hot okay! (plus she owns a bakery! reminiscence of Rachel Bils in Chuck yelling orders from behind her sandwich joint counter) this show is witty and narrative; so much like a book and maybe that's why i truly enjoyed it. it's now shelved next to Love Actually, Butterfly Effect, White Oleander, Big Fish, Matchstick Men and and and.. (which is a good thing to me in case you belong in an uncanny opposing camp from outer space)

random; love Alison Lohman!
gonna watch every one of her shows. i've learnt that good actors won't let you down with crappy shows cos they won't act in lame ones. but if they do, then well.. i guess they aren't worth being tops.

okay end to movie respite

also random, kate moss when she was younger (in 1990, no less)
gaiety is palpable, so unjaded
